It all starts tomorrow! The 2023 Liffey Descent will start at 12pm on Saturday 6th May. We would like to remind all competitors that registration is from 5-8pm at the Garda Boat club.
Some final updates –
- A reminder to not enter the main K Club entrance for the race start. Use the side gate which will be sign posted
- The water temperature is colder at this time of year – 9 degrees.
- Communions are taking place in Straffan village. Some delays should be expected
- A section of the R403 that leads into Celbridge will be closed late evening of May 5th and won’t reopen until the 8th. Plan accordingly
- Campers please use the river side of the field as the roadside is an overflow car park
- Parking is located in St Brendans GAA pitch next door to the Garda Boat club.
