No membership, no problem!

Non-member Entries

We’ve had a few queries into us here at Liffey Descent HQ specifically relating to non-member entries and insurance. Historically one needed to be a member of Canoeing Ireland to participate in the race, this is no longer the case.

So just to clear things up so there are no misunderstandings. Canoeing Ireland members and international entries benefit from the reduced entry fee of €60.00 for the race. All non-members will be charged an entry fee of €80.00. These participants are still covered by the event insurance that members benefit from.

We encourage entrants who are not members of Canoeing Ireland to visit the website and check the benefits of membership so that you can compare both options.
