For 2019 Canoeing Ireland are introducing the Clubs Perpetual Trophy.
This trophy will be awarded to the club that has the highest level of participation across all classes.
CEO of Canoeing Ireland Moira Aston said “A strong club base is the foundation of a strong sport. As we work towards strengthening our club network it is appropriate that we reward club participation across all classes in our flagship event.” Canoeing Ireland hopes that this trophy will encourage mass participation from clubs across all the classes.
